The John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) at the University of Hawaii is an LCME-accredited medical school with it’s unique vision to Attain Lasting Optimal Health for All (ALOHA).
JABSOM’s 10-acre campus rests along the beautiful oceanfront of downtown Honolulu. Since it’s founding in 1965 more than 4,500 individuals have received their MD degrees or trained in the Residency Program at JABSOM and approximately 50 percent of practicing physicians in the state are graduates of the JABSOM or residency programs. Its student body mirrors the rich diversity of the state’s population.
